So glad we had the last Thanksgiving together with our family. Had no idea it would be our last. Miss her.

This is such a shock. Beth I am so very sorry for your loss—and for all her family and friends. I am deeply moved by your post on Facebook which I very randomly happened to see. I met Carolyn when we moved into Stonehenge—also one of the early ones. Later we were both in Raleigh Ski and Outing club and shared many adventures and heartfelt marathon chats over wine or coffee. I have been gone from Raleigh for many years, but I have often thought of Carolyn and the closeness we shared. In fact I learned after the fact that she was planning to come up to my surprise 70th birthday party April, four years ago but couldn’t make it for health reasons. I remember you Beth, but you were a young girl at that time. I knew Rob well as he and my son Ken were best friends. My deep and sincere sympathies to both you and Rob. I know your mother would be so pleased by your words, and I think you beautifully captured her essence. Kris Zipin

iy Aunt Carolyn was only a phone call away and gave me advice throughout my life. She always made me feel special and loved and I loved her very much and will miss her terribly. I'm glad I talked to her less than a month ago and our last words together were, "I love you!" Godspeed my favorite Aunt. ❤
