Oh Jim...our whole neighborhood is certainly grieving for you, especially our little cul-de-sac. You were the heart and soul of our "family" here. We all love you so much. You were my first real friend here, and you helped me so much. I didn't know beans about owning a house, but you taught me what I needed to know. From your warm smile to your helping hand, you certainly showed us how to be good neighbors, and I will always be grateful for all those delicious tomatoes and vegetables you so sweetly shared with us. Thank you, Jim for everything you did for all of us. We miss you already. Please don't worry about Corinne. I will always be here for her day or night. Corinne, my prayers are with you and your entire family every day, and I know God will continue to give you all the strength, courage and comfort you need to get through this, along with His precious peace that passes all understanding. May God bless you. Love,
Mary

To the Milunas Family James Lee Graham was always known as Uncle James. He was the brother, anchor, and rock that helped our mom grow up with a light heart. He made our family and friends laugh to the point of tears, regaling us with the tales of fixed elections in small towns and the trials and tribulations of Dixie on the homestead. We know who our family is, and where our mom comes from, because of Uncle James.
To us children raised on the west coast, he was our strongest connection to our mother's southern roots and the colorful history of the Graham name.
To our mother Uncle James was the port in the storm that kept her strong, never letting her lose sight that someone always loves you. Life is not always perfect but the love of family always is. Thank you for your love.
Uncle James your heart, smile, and wonderful voice will always be with us. The Milunas family sends our love and support to the Graham family.
Glenetta Graham Milunas is our mother and sister to James.

What a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of working with Jim on numerous NCDOT projects such as NC 12/Thorofare Bay and NC 27/Catawba River. Jim always kept the state's interests at the forefront, and was a great steward of our industry. I am glad I got to know him.
