Mike was a genuinely warm and caring guy. He had a passion for the patient, to educate others, and always made time to lend his insights. We all lost a dear friend and mentor. God speed Mike.

There is a guy that was easy to like
He is our buddy, we call him Mike.
He had a knack to bring folks together
In the beginning and under the weather
He knew the importance of family and friends
Role model to follow before our journey ends
The face of the Duke program for many years
On behalf of 100's, You made an impact, CHEERS!
A tremendous legacy left behind
If only we could ask for more time
Mike and golf went well together
Outings with friends, cherished forever
Mike was proud of his kids and loved his wife
Mona was his rock, as cancer took his life.
We will remember our beloved friend Mike
Live better, and do our best to be more like
When puffy clouds fill the skies
And the day brings tearied eyes
Know somewhere up there in the blue
Mike is up there watching you.

I am a better person for being able to call Mike my friend. He so loved his family, friends and his profession. So many good times are forever etched in my memories. His zest for life, even when faced with this dreadful desease, was and is inspiring.
Thank you brother, I miss you already.
