I will forever hold the friendship of your Mom in my heart. We met many years ago because Ron and my husband Jim were friends for many years. Helen made a very large contribution to the world through her writings, her art, and her wonderful children. I will cherish the memories.

Helen leaves such a wonderful legacy of a life well-lived and loved. Bless the children left behind to carry on in her example and her husband and lifelong love and best friend, Ron.

Helen was always so welcoming of our rock band rehearsals, which was very unusual for parents! I really appreciated her kindness. When I'd stay overnight at the big house, she'd make sure I was comfortable. She was a kind, charming, very intelligent person. Until reading her obituary I'd not known she was of Polish heritage, I'm glad she got to visit Poland. Go in peace Helen, blessed be. Thank you!

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to all of you. I "met" Helen a few years ago via an email i sent trying to find Mr. R regarding his brilliant book on Japanese woodblock printing. Helen responded and we embarked on a new and wonderful friendship through a series of emails and a long phone conversation. We continued as friends on FB. I had just seen my mother leave on her end of life journey and Helen felt so much like a mother to me. She was positive, encouraging, so very intelligent, had wonderful insights. I do not have a lot of regrets in my life but i do regret not having both Helen and Ronald as friends the entire whole of my time here. I'll never forget her.
