CARPENDALE - Patricia Ann "Patty" Armentrout, of Carpendale, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 at home.
Born December 3, 1946 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Julius Rowe and Helen Virginia (McCourt) Tabler.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Rowe.
Patty was a graduate of Ridgeley High School.
She had been the Town Clerk in Carpendale and had also worked in the shoe department at BonTon.
Patty was a member of Holy Cross United Methodist Church, where she was actively involved in their after school and food bank programs.
Survivors include her husband, Dorrin L. "Butch" Armentrout; three sons, Matthew Armentrout, Jason Armentrout and wife Deanna, and Jeremy Armentrout; two grandsons, Nathan and Joshua; his sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Cover; and sister-in-law, Sue Rowe.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Sunday from 6-9 PM.
The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the funeral home, with Karen Weakley, officiating.
Interment will be in MSVC Rocky Gap.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross United Methodist Church, 3 Miller Road, Carpendale, Ridgeley, WV 26753.
