KEYSER, WV – Virginia ""Ginny"" K. Newlin, 63, of 1545 Beacon Street, Keyser, WV, died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown WV.
Born on November 1, 1954, in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Margaret V. (Grady) and Philip E. Kelly Sr. Ginny is survived by her husband of 40 years, Timothy Newlin; daughter, Meredythe Barrick and husband Brent; son, Geoffrey Newlin and wife Ashlee all of Keyser; brother, Phillip Kelly Jr. and wife Dana of Lake Frederick VA; aunt, Andi Grady and mother-in-law, Evelyn Newlin, both of Keyser. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Ava and Jude Barrick and Tucker and Harper Newlin.
Ginny spent the majority of her career as a school secretary, employed at Beall High, Keyser Primary-Middle, Burlington Primary, and most recently at New Creek Primary School. She was a faithful member of the Assumption Parish of Keyser, and a member of the local Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
In her free time, Ginny enjoyed walking for exercise, traveling with her husband and friends, and vacationing with her family. She spent many cherished hours entertaining her grandchildren. She was a devoted WVU athletic fan attending many seasons of football and basketball games. Ginny was a very social person and loved by many, supporting her family and friends in all that they did.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of the Assumption, Keyser, on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00am. Family will be available at the church for visitation 1 hour prior to the services. The family requests memorials take the form of contributions to the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute, 1 Medical Center Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505.

May you rest in peace.I remember ginny at the school with a smile on her face everytime i seen her.She was such a pleasant person to be around .My children always spoke kind words about her...I am sorry for the familys loss of such a wonderful lady.may she r.i.p.
