I just found out about Allan. He was a wonderful volunteer, helping me daily at the JCC Library in Woodbridge. I was hoping to see him here again. My deepest condolences.

I met Al through a music group, where he was a strong singer. He was always friendly and chatty.
Sounds like he led a full life. My condolences to his family.

I will miss Al's friendliness and humility. Although we often sat next to each other in our Barbershop chorus, we talked a little bit about athletic activity but he never told me that he played so many high school sports so well. That was Al. He had many accomplishments that he hardly ever mentioned. He was a great singer and I just learned that he was also an excellent pianist. He did enjoy telling me about his trip to Ireland. I am sure his sincerity, love of singing and friendliness made him a big hit. He was very generous and made it a point to bring desserts to the meetings of the Elm City chorus. He had a wonderful spirit and a real love of life. We will miss you.

Lynn and Family,

Your dad sounds like a lovely man and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May time's healing power leave only sweet memories. Love, Karen
