To the family of Dr.Ross-Russell, He was my primary physician so kind, caring and listened to all our concerns, He will be missed dearly, God has a plan for all of us and he needed David in heaven to help take care of the angels called before him my lights and prayers are with you.

Dear Dorothy,

I am simply beyond heartbroken... David was my dear friend, colleague and fierce advocate for improving care to patients facing serious illness. We immediately connected over palliative care and shared a passion for trying to improve healthcare. David was the colleague I'd call to get an opinion on an idea, project or program. He'd always give you an honest and practical answer. He was truly a doctor's doctor - a man of integrity, empathy and superb dedication to patients. David is terribly missed. My deepest sympathies to you, Bekka and Adam.

All my love,
Dana Lustbader MD
