To the Hentz Family,

Our deepest condolences at the loss of Doris. She was a lovely and caring woman. I always appreciated that she was willing to bring my mom,Pat DiMaggio, to the gym every week.

May she rest in peace.

Tina O'Connor (Daughter) to Pat Dimaggio

I was so sorry to hear that Doris has died. She and my mom, Betty Henrickson, were best friends for many many years, and I knew Doris my whole life. She was a wonderful woman and one of the great ones at Bethesda. It's sad to see that generation disappearing. Doris was so active in church for so many years, and continued participating even as she got older (while she was able to), and helped other people get to church when they couldn't go by themselves.

I wish I could be there for her service and to see the whole family, but we had committed to seeing two young nieces in a performance of the Nutcracker Suite in upstate New York on Saturday. I will be thinking of you, Richard and Raymond and your families, as well as Harriet. I know you will miss her - she was a great woman.
