Shari,

I was so very sad to hear of John's passing when Betty messaged me. We are never ready for these very hard days in our lives.

I pray all the memories you two created over these decades help to console you now.

With sincere sympathy,
Steve Warren

Shari,
Alison shared the sad news with me out here in San Francisco. So very sorry for your loss. Our loss. Will miss John as a good friend and an able shipmate. John gave me the courage to sail and I will always be grateful to him for that gift and his wisdom out there on the water. He was as generous as he was kind and gentle. I will be unable to be there for the services tomorrow but will certainly be there in spirit. You will find me in the first row among his closest admirers and friends. Be strong. You have friends to rely on and I am certain you will always have John nearby watching out for you from somewhere warm and pleasant.
Stay well.
Stay strong.
Steve / Alison
