Loretta was my dear Christian friend. I first met her at a lady's bible study in our church, First Assembly of God in Meriden, CT over 10 years ago. We became close friends over the past few years. She and I would go to Sunday School and Sunday morning worship, Tuesday evening prayer group and other church functions together. She was a great prayer warrior and loved her Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ with all of her heart. She was much loved by her church family, and we will all miss her greatly. To express our deep love for and in remembrance of her, we will be holding a memorial service at our church on Tuesday evening, February 13th at 7:00 pm in the evening.

My sincere condolences to the family and my thanks for sharing her with the rest of us. I pray that the Everlasting Arms of the God she served will comfort you. Among many of her roles in life, Loretta was our dear friend and Tuesday Bible Study buddy. Her exuberant love for the Lord Jesus and her willingness to share her faith with every health care worker and person she would meet was truly inspiring to us all. She would always express how blessed she felt by the privilege of studying the word of God and she longed to be with her Savior. She had a sincere love for her family and friends and was 85 going on 21! I loved her dearly as did anyone who spent 2 minutes in her company. Loretta was a real woman of God and will be missed big-time! I look forward to that day in glory when I can hug her once again. God bless.
