LeMay, Kathleen M.
Kathleen M. LeMay, age 83, peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2018, at the Arden House in Hamden, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph K. LeMay. Mrs. LeMay was born in New Haven on August 29, 1934, daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Leahy McCormack. A resident of Ansonia for over fifty years, she enjoyed gardening, reading, vacations with her family and taking walks. She leaves to cherish her memory, loving sons, Joseph B. LeMay (Cynthia) of Shelton, Steven P. LeMay of Ansonia and Alan M. LeMay of FL, loving daughters, Denise M. Coogan (Raymond) of Hamden and Michelle M. Mazzeo of East Haven, cherished granddaughter, Caitlin Coogan of Hamden and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael McCormack and a sister, Mary Capps. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday (TODAY) February 8, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Friday, her funeral will begin at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ansonia Animal Shelter, 2 Elm Street, Ansonia, CT 06401 or through the funeral home.
