John Luther McArthur, Jr., 63 departed this life at Yale New Haven Hospital on January 31, 2018 in the company of loved ones. John was born in
Fayetteville, NC, and long time resident of West Haven, CT. John is survived by his daughter Ruby McArthur, grandson Raylon McArthur, three sisters Bertha McArthur, Christine McArthur, and Rebecca Williams, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents and two siblings. A ceremony of his life will be held Saturday February 10, 2018 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. with a celebration of his life at 10a.m. at the First Church of God 90 Harper Avenue, New Haven. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Hamden Plains Cemetery 246 Circular Avenue,
Hamden. All State Cremation & Funeral Care entrusted with arrangements.
