My deepest sympathies to Shirley's family. When we played golf together at Race Brook Country Club, Shirley would always have a joke to share with the group. The last time I saw Shirley was at The Common Bond Market in Huntington Center when it first opened a few years ago. I remarked that I loved the sign over the door at the market. She told me that it was designed by her grandson. She was so proud of her grandson's business.
May she rest in peace.

Dear Shirley's entire family.....We just wanted let you know how much we LOVED taking care of her. We feel that it's not the amount of time you know someone but more importantly the QUALITY of the time you have spent together. We both work 11p-7a and on many nights Shirley said she couldn't sleep.....we would get her up and have her come sit with us. She would tell us about Palm Springs and WRINKLES ALL THE TIME!!!!!! How she would smile and tell us so many loving stories about that dog she swore he was human. We have shed tears and have a void in our hearts missing her......We know she is at peace....with her WRINKLES. Thank You for sharing Shirley with us.
LOVE......Jackie and Diane xxoo

My hartfelt sympathy to the family: Jeff, Dean, Mary Ellen with fond memories of their mom from our childhood on Curtis Drive. She was a wonderful person with a terrific can-do spirit.
