Please accept my deepest condolences on the lost of your dear mother. She was a shining light in the Catholic community in Paris.

To all my cousins...Foleys and Van den Broeks...

My Heart❣and spirit have been with all of you each and every day. I wish I didn't live so far away. But I was so fortunate to have seen and visited with many of you at Bea's passing. Barbie's incredible, loving spirit will always be with us. Her infectious smile will shine forever in our hearts and guide us through these days ahead.

To Barbie's family and friends, especially the children and grandchildren, she loved you so very much and you brought her so much joy. I think the grandchildren became the icing on the cake that made up her life.

I knew Barbie from high school, but really got to know her when I moved to California and became her roommate. As her obituary described, she brought the sunshine into a room. Barbie enjoyed cooking and I got to experience her early efforts. It was sometimes very exciting especially during the kitchen fire she started - where we met what seemed to be the entire Redwood City Police Department. All the time she had us laughing.

Then she moved back and met the amazing Claude and they moved to France. I visited her several times there and then, most recently, in her n townhouse in Cincinnati. There were definitely hardships along the way - but Barbie was always positive. When life gave her lemons, she not only made lemonade, but also sprinkled glitter and threw in brownies. Throughout the years, I learned so much from her indomitable spirit and infectious humor.

Barbie made the world a better place, and those she touched, better persons. While we have lost this wonderful special person, heaven will now be a little bit happier with her there.
