Great mother you guys had. I am so sorry.

Bert's "cheerful caring spirit and quiet strength"says it all.
My memories go way back to Kenwood...around the big round dining table, her warm smile as we grabbed snacks from the pantry, her G and T's, her hair appointments, her pretty clothes, her minks. I always felt like family in her presence. You were all so lucky to have her as your mom, your grandmother and your friend.

Toni,

We spoke of your mother at the SUA reunion last fall. I just wanted to let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.

I am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. "Bert" was always so good and gracious to my mother,
Gloria Leshney. My mother always spoke so fondly of her, taking my mother to Women's Club and to the beauty shop and out to lunch. I truly believe she was my mother's best friend. I am so glad they found each other.
