Doris: We were crushed to learn of the passing of Charles yesterday ( 4/23/17) at a UC event in Cincinnati from Gwen Ivory Robinson. Charles was extremely esteemed by me as a mentor and role model for upward mobility in my business career. When I saw Charles at Zion in September 2016, he was driving his car and in a upbeat attitude, expressing his love for God. If Vera and I had known, we definitely would have shown our respect for his life with our attendance and support for you and Eric. I will miss Charles.
God will cover you with his comfort and peace in time.

Charlie was a friend and someone who I considered as a mentor during my years at Cincinnati Bell, CBIS. Our thoughts and prayers to Doris and Eric.

Thank you Charlie,

Charles was a great neighbor, his kindness and genuine smile always brightened our day. When we heard the news of his passing we were truly saddened with the reality that we would no longer be able to strike up a conversation with him while taking out the trash, doing yard work, or just enjoying a nice day. Charles kept a beautiful yard, he really took pride in his trees, and was kind enough say how much he enjoyed viewing our yard and trees as well. Whenever we look across the street at those stately Ash trees we will think of Charles and remember what a great guy he was.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Doris and Eric. Charles will be missed but his memory will live on.

What a sad day when a friend and work colleague of many years passes on. You will be missed Charlie by all who knew you well. You were a trusted co-worker and a good friend. Prayers to Doris, Eric and all your family during this difficult time!
