I just learned Dan had died. I knew him well but briefly, appreciated his wisdom and wit. That's a great combination. Sorry he's gone and I will miss him

So sad to hear of Dan's passing. He was such a nice, upbeat guy and fun to talk with. All Saints was also our parish and we often talked about going there. Dan will be missed. Our condolences to all of his family.

We are so saddened to hear of the passsing of our dear Uncle Dan.
My family and I were always so excited and enthralled with him, Aunt Lois, and all our cousins when we were growing up. How we always looked forward to their visits to see us in White Plains, NY and even better when we got to visit them in New Canaan, Ct. Our Lavely clan still talks about the Bicentennial Fourth of July
with them at Waveny Park, as one of the most memorable ever !
Yes, the whole family was larger than life to us, including Uncle Dan's beloved Newfoundland dog Bo.
Our healing thoughts and prayers go out to all his children, grandchildren, Aunt Mary Letty and all extended family and loving friends. He will be greatly missed.
May he rest in peace with his brothers, Larry and Jerry, our grandparents, and our Aunt Lois.
Love, Cousin Suzy Lavely Blank
