I had the honor of working for Dr. Nishiyama for 14 years. He was an excellent physician and boss. He had a very strong work ethic and came to work everyday with a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed.

I had the good fortune to work with Dr. Nishiyama during his time at the Cincinnati VAMC. He was an outstanding physician, service chief, and colleague. I appreciated his enthusiasm and dedication to patient care. He was always available for discussions with clinicians to determine the best course of action for the care of their patients. He has been missed. My condolences to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Dr. Nishiyama was by far one of my favorite doctors to work with at the VA. He would always come down to our office to visit and tell stories. He will definitely be missed. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.
