Bobby-
I couldn't find your e-mail contact information. I am very sorry about your loss. Your mom was an amazing teacher...so smart and pushed us on every level.
I would very much like to be there for her service. We live in McLean, so it isn't far at all.
Please let me know so I can be a part of honoring your amazing mother.

Best from your neighbor from long ago,
Molly Kennedy Farnsworth

One of my favorite memories (and a life experience I did not comprehend) was the time she had Basil Rathbone (in person!) in our classroom. I did not know who he was at the time, but looking back, it was an incredible event that I have treasured over all these years. She was a demanding teacher, but what I learned has benefited me my entire life.

Jeff, I'm so glad you mentioned that she taught eighth grade, as I was wondering if this was the same Mrs. Harris I had when I went to Anderson Jr. High.

She was tough, good and did not put up with much foolishness, I recall! Wonderful to read about her life and family. I remember her well and am most appreciative of her efforts to give us a quality education! She and Mrs. Vickers from 7th grade were both outstanding.

It sounds like she had a rich, full and meaningful life and helped many of us along the way! Happy Trails to Mrs. Harris!
