I was saddened to hear of the passing of John. As son Jeff once remarked ... "383 Newman, you hit it, you'll know it!". A small slice of the country in a Suburban town, I have many fond childhood memories spending time with the family on the farm. You couldn't find better vegetables than the crops produced by John, Jean, & the family. John was a hard working man who enjoyed the simple things in life as demonstrated by his passion for fishing. He'd give you the time of day to talk Reds baseball, Bengals football, or share a fishing story. His strong work ethic was an example for all, it certainly was for me.
My sincerest condolences to Jean & the family!

Memories of my childhood have been overwhelmibg me the last few days . From the waster when we all went and played baseball in the rain and grandma and grandpa Kuntz laughing at all of us . We were covered in mud from head to toe . How you let me run all over the field and always said suzie will be okay let her. Never had a meal cooked like you made it. And the fishing stories were always in point . God you really taking on truly strong man from my family he lived the life he wanted to . I don't thing there was ever a time he said I can't do that . Remember you gave Eugene. (Joe). My dad a pair of your overalls and a straw hat. He rocked that. Armed. Joe. Everyone called him that day priceless . If. Ever in a time I look back. In a family it was the Kuntz family. Strong. Supportive of each other they had flaws. Just like every family . I wasn't born into the family. I was raised into it . Lessons of life respect love honor faith in which most of all the Kuntz had. Uncle. Red. Never lost faith in things always knew when storms was coming but he had the huge heart ❤ and would give his dirty overhauls to ya. Lol. Bless all aunt jean. Miss you. Suzie
