Nancy,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He now resides with the Lord in peacefulness, and watches his family with pride and love. You will see his smile in the eyes of your daughter, and hold his memory in your heart.
Prayers for your family,
Barbi Dreyer Zilch

I first met Leo in the late '70's when a client introduced me to Stenger's Cafe on Vine St. (OTR).

It was a Tuesday, I had my first sauerbraten. I was hooked! Later that week we went back on Friday for the fried perch with macaroni & cheese. Of course I'd had fried perch at other restaurants but never like that, before or since.

Standing at the steam table, he would always greet you with a hello and a smile. Before you left you'd hear a joke or two and the banter back and forth with the customers.

He was an institution in Cincinnati.

Rest in peace, Leo.
