I knew Paul through a common love of baseball, and specifically the Reds. I met him at the monthly card shows where he catered to the baseball card and memorabilia collectors. I became one of his "regulars" always buying cards from him and over the years were on a first name basis, which is a bit unusual in the card sell/buyer market. That says a lot about Paul. We would see each other at Redsfest and Reds games always saying hello to each other and sharing stories related to the Reds and baseball. When Paul became sick, I always asked how he was doing and he always had an optimistic positive response. I was looking forward to seeing him at the Moeller card show this past weekend, and then was stunned to learn of his passing and seeing the beautiful memorial for Paul. I will never forget my friend Paul, may he rest in peace.

Paul was well-loved by all who knew him. His happy personality and sense of humor was an inspiration to all who spent time with him.
Over the years, Paul was a big part of our lives. He was an "Honorary Uncle" to our Girl Scout Troop. All the girls called him "Uncle Paul"!
recently when Paul found out that Bekah was playing broom-ball up at M U, he gifted her, his broom-ball stick for good luck! Bekah is convinced that Paul is in Heaven, making toothpaste for the angels and playing broom-ball with the champs!
It was an honor to have known such a great person and we will truly miss him.
We pray that God will give you the strength needed to get through this moment in your lives. We would like to offer our prayers and condolences to your family. May God bring you peace and comfort.
