My sincere condolences to the family of my past neighbor Rita Pharo. Rita was always so full of life and focused on making a difference in the world around her. She made a difference in various community groups including the Girl Scouts of America. She was involved in raising funds for various organizations in a number of unique ways. I remember her raising funds for WKRC in connection with a charity(March of Dimes I think). What was unusual was the way it was done. She had a carnival in her back yard. She covered her entire backyard by getting an Orange and White silk parachute and suspending it above her yard. Below the parachute were various games of chance with donated prizes. How do people come up with ideas like that ? that was Rita .
I can still close my eyes and see that parachute. Rita, We will all be together again some day....
