Even though in 1965 I wasn't a history buff, I loved Mr. Buster's class. He was one of my favorite teachers. When for health reasons I could not attend school the last month of school, Mr. Buster came to our home to tutor me to assure that I would graduate with my history credit so I would have enough credits to apply for college. My sympathies to his family. He was a wonderful man & teacher with a kind heart.

What a wonderful teacher he was! The only time in my life that I actually enjoyed being in a history class! He was an exceptional teacher who knew how to capture the attention of his students.

My favorite teacher at Sycamore!

I'm so sorry to hear about "Mr. Buster". I was his student the first year he came to Sycamore. He was a captivating teacher and had a special way of connecting with students. He influenced so many students. I was so happy to reconnect with him a few years ago after hearing his daughter speak. Linda Brumley Paul
