There are things I remember fondly about Robert, how he related to the Kids in the Family, that was his comfort zone.. I remember his and Ron's concern for his nieces during our accident in Georgia, they drove down and made sure we got to the Airport safely.. He was quiet.. He use to meet Ron at McDonald's for A.M. coffee and to read the newspaper, but they sat at separate tables.. Once when Mary and Judy visited he took them to Fountain Square and had them running backward down the street, that was right before the girl's locked him out of his car.. You will be missed, especially by Irene.. RIP

I am 1 of the numerous niece's Uncle Robert has, and was very sad to hear of his passing. Living 1000 of miles away from family, prevents some from getting to know one another. Fortunately, we got to know Uncle Robert, and will never forget his physical prowess, (doing cartwheels & headstands with my 7 yo when he had to have been 60!)

I will remember him always as a very kind, friendly, gentleman, with a penchant for telling corny jokes:)
RIP Uncle Robert. Love and prayers to family.

Robert (aka Shorty by my parents) was a lifelong, loyal friend of my Mom and Dad's. I recall his kindness and generosity, his sense of humor and his physical fitness. He was a kind man. My deepest sympathy to your family.
