Muench
Grace (Whitlock) Muench, 93 of Cold Spring, Kentucky passed away on June 27, 2017. Grace was born January 24, 1924 in Portland, Maine to John H. Whitlock and Mae Gormley Whitlock. Grace was a Loving and Amazing Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She worked at the USO during World War II, and later at Dine's Furniture, Newport, Kentucky. Grace was a member of St. Joseph Church and Seniors, Cold Spring, St. Mary's Ladies Society, Christian Family Movement, Mariners Club, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. Grace volunteered at the Parish Kitchen and various fundraisers for her children's schools and was active in the Democratic politics. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 71 years, Joseph N. Muench, 5 Sisters and 6 Brothers. Grace is survived by her 6 children, Josie (Frank) Cuda, Steve (Louise) Muench, Rick (Cheryl) Muench, Joe Muench, Barb (Bob) Kling, and Therese (Nick) Blank. Also 11 Grandchildren, and 31 Great Grandchildren. Visitation 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, Friday, June 30, 2017 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 S. Fort Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, Kentucky 41075. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 6:30 pm Friday, June 30, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, Kentucky with Rev. Gerald Reinersman, officiating. Following Mass a Celebration of Life Reception will be held in Kelley Hall. Burial will take place in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church, c/o Elevator Fund, 4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, Kentucky 41076. Online condolences can be given at www.dmefuneral.com.

So sorry to learn of Grace's passing. I enjoyed visiting her with my therapy dog, Peach, at Coldspring Transitional Care Center. She always welcomed us into her room and was a delight to talk to as she stroked Peach. She will be missed.
