Dear Nancy for the past several years your mother has been
a topic of our conversations at the "luncheons." You always spoke so lovingly of her. Reading her obituary gives me a glimpse into
a remarkable woman who led a full and interesting life. Since she lived to 103 years how fortunate you were to have that time with her. I know she will be missed by you and your family.

Beryl & Family, Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of your Mom. Though I never met her, she was obviously a remarkable lady. Greg Gillis

I last saw Mrs Gray severel years ago when I was visiting my best friend of 60 years, Nancy, the eldest daughter.
Memories of sleep overs at Mrs Gray's, her driving us to Valencia and the one memory that stands out could be described as, well, actually there is no one word to describe it.
One day Nancy, May May Selzer and I decided to ditch school - we were sophomores at Fortier. We hid our books at the edge of Audubon Park and proceeded to the Tulane Student Center to check out the college "boys". Well, as we were leaving, Mrs Gray was going up the steps and she grabbed Nancy and told her to get into the car and May May and I turned around to escape her grasp! That did not work out in our favor. When I got into the car, lo and behold MY Mother was there. Long story short, Mrs Gray dragged us to school and we all had to meet with the principal individually, received zeroes in all our classes for that day as well a a three days of detention. Good times! Nancy and I do laugh at the memory of that now but back then we weren't too happy about Mrs Gray's actions! Rest in peace Mrs G. Thoughts to the entire family.
