I'm definitely going to miss you Elmo. You were like a 2nd father to me, t.j and Stephanie. You kept us on our toes growing up. As much as I have always imitated your voice I already miss hearing it. Rest peacefully UNC! Love you

Thank you for your support and encouragement that you gave me to become the best nurse I could be (unbeknownst to you). I was a student nurse and you were a patient many years ago. Throughout the day you spoke highly of me to my instructor and others. Your kind words pushed me to believe in myself. Under your tough exterior was a tender and loving man. Hope you are dancing in heaven with Beverly and PaPa! Love you, Uncle Mo! Until we see each other again...
