Dearest Shirley,
It is with the most heavy heart that I am sitting here writing to you and your wonderful family. Claude and I were out of town and returned to learn of the loss of our dear friend but too late and after the services were concluded. George was truly a very special person and had a profound and lasting impact on our life and the life of anyone who was lucky enough to meet him, know him and to be his friend. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father and grandfather and the best and most devoted friend that anyone could ever hope to be fortunate to have. George was a mentor to so many young people and was always more than ready to champion numerous charitable and worthy causes. He was a strong but fair and ethical leader. He possessed amazing energy and the force of his personality allowed for the continued growth and success of BKI.
Claude and I cherish the countless wonderful memories of our time together with you and George. Our many fabulous Christmas New York weekend trips and all of the other vacations, dinners and parties were a source of endless fun and joy. These memories are treasured as our best. When I think of George I will always see his broad smile and hear his quick booming deep laugh.
We love you both very much and my deepest regret is that in your grief, you took the time to personally call us but we did not receive your telephone call. We would have returned immediately to be with you and your beautiful family and to say a loving farewell to our wonderful and dear friend.
Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We take comfort in the knowledge that George is now with God.
With our love and deepest sympathy,
Kathy and Claude

Our Deepest Sympathies to the Kleinpeter Family I had the pleasure knowing Mr. George and Family for 8 years as a council at large for St. Charles parish . Very kind man and I greatly admired him and his business. May God bless the family through this difficult time . Our thoughts and prayers to the family . Carolyn and Gilbert Schexnaydre

George was a client of Brannan Hunts in Lucedale,MS for many duck/quail seasons.
The people he entertained here could leave knowing George had made sure they had a great time. George was one of the most generous people we have met. Our lives are enriched because we knew George Kleinpeter. Our thoughts and prayers for his dear family.
