I am sad to receive the news of Ken's death and I offer my deepest sympathy to Joanne and all of the members of his family who loved him. Ken and I were classmates at Lubbock High and very good friends. He was a hoot; everybody loved him; and he could always make me laugh no matter how determined I was to be sad. We lost touch as college years went by, but I am so blessed to have seen him at our 50th high school reunion not so long ago. Interestingly, we found each other in line to get on the plane to Lubbock. Our spouses probably thought we were a little nuts (indeed we were). I am glad my husband got to meet my friend Ken (I and many of our friends just called him Caldcleugh). It was good to meet Joanne as well and easy to understand why they made a great team. To me, he was always a team kind of guy. Ken was an important part of my teenage and early adult years; and though we did not stay in touch(I wish we had), I never forgot his voice, his smile and his understanding of what it meant to be a true friend in those often turbulent teenage years. May God's Grace and Love cover every single member of this good man's family.

If everything ended with our death, earthly life would be without hope or comfort. But God does not allow us to vanish into eternal nothingness. God unites human beings in love and surrounds them with His own love. He does not destroy what he has created but brings it to perfection.

May the peace of the Lord be with you always, Joanne and family.

My heart goes out to the entire Caldcleugh family. I did not know Mr. Caldcleugh but I have heard such wonderful stories of this wonderful man.

I am sending prayers to Josh and his family through this difficult time. Prayers for strength and understanding.

I Love you Josh, Jackie, and Family.
