To: Glenda, Cynthia, Aunya and Aubrey,
My prayers are with you all doing this trying time. Our Parents were friends. And our childhood homes were down the street from each other.
Your Mom worked selfless for the betterment of all she came in contact with.
A faith walker. That type of life and testimony will live forever.
From experience I know God's promises are true. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
He will wipe every tear away.
With much Love.

To the family of Ms. Bryan, I will always remember her dedication, and support she gave to the youths and young adults at St. John A.M.E., church.I was always received whenever she came in my presence. Small things that individuals do play's a big part in how they can see and over come obstacles. May you rest in JESUS. Your work and the legacy you leave behind speaks and shows who you were and how you gave to others. GOD Bless

I am sending my love and prayers to Aunya, Glenda, Cynthia, and Aubrey. I remember living next door to them for many, many years she was like a grandmother to my brothers and I, she loved my mother and father a lot. I would outside listening to her sing and wait for her to knock on the back of our house just to see her. I remember how Mr Aubrey was the one who rushed my mom and dad to the hospital when my mother went into labor with my little brother and my oldest brother and I stayed by Mrs. Emma until my parents came home from Charity and we were soo happy to be with her. I will forever miss, love, and feel grateful for her love and blessings. I will keep you all in my prayers and in my heart.

Condolences, hugs and prayers to all of you. We too have experienced the loss of a family member, because Ms. Emma wasn't just a board member of United Churches of Algiers, she was a cornerstone. She held every position on the executive board and filled in whenever and wherever she was needed. Ms. Emma has certainly gained her wings, and is at rest, a well deserved rest. United Churches of Algiers, the Arthur Monday Senior Center and Algiers, will not be the same without her. Thanks so much for sharing your Mom with us!!!

Thanks Ms. Emma, may you rest in peace. You were the original parental activist in the Algiers Schools: PTA President (multiple schools); costumes for school plays and parades; etc. whatever was needed. With deepest condolences from the Henderson Family.

To the Bryan Family,
It's a blessing to have been considered one of your mother's children. She will be truly missed.
"God looked around His garden And found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face, He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best, He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered "Peace be thine", It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home." - God's Garden
Rest in Peace, Mrs. Emma well done.

To this family,
I am sorry to hear about the "HOME-GOING", of this beautiful soul. I can remember going to her home on Elmira St. in " Algiers", as she made all of our costumes for Mc Donogh 32 Elementary School, for all functions, such as plays, parades and many other occassions. She volunteered whole heartedly for every and any thing that could assist the school and the community. Her imput in my life, will never be forgotten.
