Ronald Anthony Laiche, age 82, born in New Orleans, LA on December 27, 1938. Longtime resident of Mandeville, LA, departed this life on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 7:00AM due to complications of covid 19. Survived by his devoted and loving wife, Judith Howard Laiche. Ron and Judith blended their families together 25 years ago into one. They shared a loving and devoted life together. Ron cherished, loved, and enjoyed each year and memory. A generous, loyal friend, Dad, Paw Paw, and husband. He will be close in our hearts and dearly missed always. Preceded in death by his father John F. Laiche, mother Mildred Barilleau Dehon, stepfather Raymond H. Dehon, and brother Robert J. Laiche. Survived by his sister Debra Dehon Gegenheimer, his children whom he was so proud of Rhea Laiche Overton (Bob), Ronald A. Laiche Jr., Whitley J. Laiche, Jayne E. Laiche Saia (Sal), Cary J. Laiche (Cherie), David J. Laiche (Kylah), step-daughter Carrington H. Gentry and step-son John W. Gentry (Amber), 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Laiche founded Laiche and Company Inc. in 1978 based on honesty and integrity; principles he valued throughout his life. Ron was respected by his business peers and he was very proud to have his sons carry on the business in accordance with the values and traditions he established. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Ochsner Medical and St. Tammany Parish Hospital for their compassionate care and support during a difficult time. On behalf of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association and Brother Martin High School, I offer our prayers and condolences. We will say a Mass in his memory.

Father of all, we pray to you for Ronald, and for all those whom we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
