Ronnie will be missed a lot. He was a friend and also a fan of my art and children's books. When I shopped with my wife, Mary Ann, he talked and enjoyed our visit as we shopped; usually once a month. He purchased two sets of my children's books and displayed them at the shop. I designed a T-shirt for him years ago, and he prized it. Rest in peace, my friend; you are in good Hands now.

I’m so saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Dunaway, he was a good soul. He was always kind to me and my family, no matter what he would always there if just to lend an ear. Mr. Dunaway will be missed, truly missed. To the family I’m so sorry for your loss, a great loss, indeed. We loved Mr. Dunaway and again he will be truly missed. I’m so hurt right now.

I remember Ronnie from the late 1950's when he was with his older brothers CJ and Glenn. We grew up together in Old Town and I remember him well. He stayed in Old Town and had a very successful business as well as a great knowledge of Slidell history. In short, he was a really nice guy and he will be dearly missed by the Slidell community. He truly was a good person.

I am saddened to hear of Mr. Ronnie’s passing at such a young age. He truly was the epitome of the entrepreneurship of Olde Towne Slidell. He was always fair in his treatment of customers. I suppose the Saints in heaven will be outfitted in proper “Who Dat” jerseys now.

This is a huge loss not only for the city of Slidell but for the entire Saints community. Ronnie was a proud member of the Big Easy Mafia Saints fan club since the beginning in 2014. We’re sure going to miss those football discussions and brainstorming ideas. This is a tough one. We are dedicating the 2021 Saints season to you Mr Ronnie. WHO DAT!
