Marion Wetta Wilson, 85, died November 7, 2017 at Williston Care Center in Williston, Florida. Marion was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Gainesville, Florida 20 years ago. She was a Presbyterian. Marion graduated with honors from Mather School of Nursing in New Orleans in 1953 as a Registered Nurse. Marion was bright and beautiful, feisty, friendly, and fun. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her ability to tell a good story, her abiding faith in God, and her seafood gumbo. Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, John Cole Wilson, parents, Thomas John Wetta and Sarah Chapman Wetta, and two brothers, Dr. William Wetta, and Thomas Wetta III. She is survived by son Eric C. And Hold Her In The Palm Of HIS Hand.
