Wayne Joseph Tureaud, Sr. gained his wings on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at his home in Algiers, LA. He was 61 years old, a native of Lutcher, LA., and a resident of New Orleans. He is the son of the late Israel and Sarah Tureaud. Father of Wayne Tureaud Jr., and Sydney Tureaud (Terry Edwards). Brother of Angela Mcintyre Thomas, Allen, Anthony, and Armand Mcintyre. He is the devoted cousin of Sonya Armstrong, Dianne Debose, Kenneth Cureau (Butch), and Joseph Morgan (Dougie). He is also survived by his best friend Jemal Causey. Also left to cherish his memory is Mary Mcintyre, a host of cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. Wayne had a love and true compassion for his children, Mardi Gras, cooking and football. He was a true fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037, at 1 p.m. The limited visitation will begin at 12 noon. Minister Jordan L. Robinson, Sr. officiating and interment will be private.
