David always brought the best wine and made the best food - we enjoyed his zest for life and obvious skills in the kitchen.

He will be missed.

David was one of those rare attorneys (too rare) that remembered that our client's business dispute was not our personal dispute. We had a few matters in which we represented opposite interests. Reading his obituary, I see that the graciousness and respect he treated both opposing counsel and clients was not just his professional behavior but who he was. He was a fine attorney but an even better person. At my firm, we like to describe someone like David as a gentleman and a scholar. May his family be comforted by your memories and knowing that David was well regarded as both an attorney and as a gentleman. He will be missed.
