Dominick C. Tucci
Moonachie - It is with sadness and love that we share the peaceful passing of Dominick C. Tucci on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Dominick was a lifetime resident of Moonachie. It is here that he served as Chief of the Moonachie Fire Department where he was a lifetime member and a member of the Exempt Firemen Association. Dominick was an active member of the Moonachie Senior Citizens Club where he had many dear friends that meant so much to him. He had the honor of serving as the Grand Marshall in the Centennial Parade in Moonachie. Dominick was a decorated World War II combat infantry veteran. He had a strong passion and pride for our country. Dominick was also an active member of V.F.W. Post 8424. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving and charismatic man. Dominick was a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church in Little Ferry. He was a classic car enthusiast who enjoyed both working on cars and the casual weekend car ride with his wife. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Dominick during his years with us, especially the importance of an Italian dinner and a good joke. Dominick was predeceased by his loving wife, Eva Tucci, his parents, Domenico and Catarina Tucci and his eleven siblings. He is survived by his children, Ronald Tucci, Rosemarie Pluchino, Donna Beideman and son-in-law Russell Beideman. Loving grandfather of Michael Juliano, Stacey and Trevor Jones, Joy and Tim Gavin, Lori and Anthony Barone, Joey and Marissa Juliano, Russell and Kimberly Beideman and Amy and William Zangara. Cherished great grandfather of Krista and Anthony, Michael Jr., Mackenzie, Gavin, Cooper, Colby, Anthony and Vinny. Great great grandfather of Hailey Rae. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, September 14th at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church Little Ferry at 10 AM. Entombment following at Garden of Memories, Township of Washington. Visitation Thursday, September 13th from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Moonachie Fire Department 70 Moonachie Rd. Moonachie, NJ 07074 would be appreciated. CostaMemorialHome.com

Ron, Donna & Russel and Rosemarie.
The Tucci family and the Borough of Moonachie have lost one of its finest .The love and friendship he shared with one and all can and will never be forgotten. The memories I have of him especially when he would invite me into his tomato garden and he would beam and say "no-one will ever have them this big". It was so true,no one ever did.
May Dad rest in peace.
