My deepest and heartfelt sympathies to the family of Joan Zimmerman Vukelic. We enjoyed a wonderful and close friendship for the past 50 years. Joan was a delightful person who possessed a marvelous sense of humor. I shall always cherish the memory of her friendship. My only regret is that I did not know of her passing and was unable to pay my sincerest respects to her at her final viewing. We spoke often on the phone and shared a world of memories during our lengthy conversations. We went to NYC together with Mr. Ricciardi. She shall be sorely missed.
