Dr. Lewin had been my Dean, friend and
colleague. I have many fond memories of
the years we were both at Edward Williams
College. His support and guidance when
I was a young faculty member were greatly appreciated.

You were my grandfather, the smartest and wittiest man I have ever encountered( i deal with hundreds of people a day) i have so many great memories but life got ahold of me fast. I wish you could have met your great granddaughter, she is 80% you. Her wit and charm is all thanks to you. Rest well, you earned it.

Dean Lewin was very influential in my life and career, modeling and encouraging from the day we met. He stopped me in the hallway one day and asked where my jacket was (as we wore jackets and ties). Later, as a member of the Student Government leadership he took me, a first get from a blue collar family, under his wing. His love was often expressed in a little sarcasm, which I have adopted myself. Farewell mentor!
