VELECHKO
Walter P., 61, of Clifton, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. Born in Passaic, he resided in Clifton most of his life. Walter was currently a Facilities Manager at Cytec Industries Inc., Woodland Park, NJ where he has worked for 30 years. He was a member of Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Church, Clifton and the NJ Historical Miniature Associates.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Kelly Garry. Survivors include: his wife the former, Marion Kudla; his daughter, Stacy Toner and her husband, Lt. Col. Kevin R. Toner of Japan; his parents, Peter and Anna (nee Vasko) Velechko of Clifton; his brother, Vitale Velechko and his wife, Carolyn of Cedar Grove; and his granddaughter, Caitlyn Ashley Rohmert.
Funeral Services are 9:15 AM Wednesday from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10:00 AM at Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Church, 635 Broad Street, Clifton. Cremation to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Parastas 7:00 PM.
