Laura, I catch myself thinking of you and our early childhood when we were inseparable every day! I miss you so much! I know we didn't see each other much once we moved away, but one of my biggest regrets is that we didn't get together after running into each other that day! I will treasure that hug forever! I only wished I would have known how much you were going through! I take comfort knowing you have loved ones in heaven ❤

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.

Laura you were my first friend beginning as far back as I can remember! We spent many many days and nights together! Our lives took paths that took us apart but then brought us back together again! Always saying we would have to get together and as life goes, never finding the time to do it. I will always regret that! I am so sorry we didn't have our time but I will cherish all of our wonderful childhood memories that we made! You will always be my first best friend! Rest in peace my friend! You are with your Dad, daughter and my Dad now, another Angel in heaven!

I learned a tough lesson last week. I took for granted that we would be able to spend days just hanging out and laughing after I retired. I enjoyed a fantastic day with Laura just 3 weeks ago. I took my first train ride to visit her. Proof that it could have been done at any time. We are not promised tomorrow. I loved her the moment we met in Junior high school and I will always love her and Dad for everything!

I love you so much. God took away my two best friends. No one has ever come close to the special relationship I had with you and Shiree. You both meant so much to me. My heart is hurting but I am strong for Alivia and LJ and the rest of her family and friends. I love you guys all so much and I thank you all for making me feel part of your family thru all these years. It really means so much to me. You guys are such great people and love you guys all so much especially Tom and Wanda and family for being here for me thru these hard times.
