Dear Jan and family.

Today is September 7th, 2014..one year since "your Bea's" funeral. Yesterday was September 6th, 2014..one year since her Prayer Vigil when the very special and beautiful Pall was placed on her casket reminding us of the white garment of Baptism in which she was enrobed in her Christian dignity. She now brings that "dignity unstained into everlasting life."

How wonderful it is that your mother's funeral was the first funeral in which the Pall was used after my mother's funeral three weeks earlier. It pleases me so much that you are looking after that unique Pall for me. It could not be in better hands. Thank you so much!

Today I celebrated Mass for your mother and for the intentions of all in your family. At the moment of Consecration and of course at the time of reception of Holy Communion I knew that your mother and my Bea were very close. After all Jesus did pray, "Father, those you have given me that they may be with me where I am." Where ever Jesus is are also His friends! This is so very true at the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. I knew they were close and present. I talked to them and thanked them for their love and care for us all. I can see them looking down on all those "God has given them" with love and care. It is such a consolation and a strength for me. I hope it is for you too.

How special and significant that our two "Beas" share so much. There is a reason that "Beatrice Eileen" (born in Winnipeg in 1916, died in British Columbia in August, 2014) and "Beatrice Elaine" (born also in Winnipeg in 1916, died also in British Columbia in August 2014) had such amazing "coincidences" in their circumstances! There is a reason for everything. I see them rejoicing together as they look upon us all from their "clouds" in Heaven.

May God continue to bless you all at this special time of year. It will continue to roll around every year at this time. It is indeed a very grace filled period...for me between August 6th and August 15th and for you between August 30th and September 7th. This being the first year for us both may it be a profound spiritual opportunity which will grow deeper, holier and more profound each year. May it particularly be a time we offer up in prayer for the younger members of our families that they grow closer to Jesus and through the love of their grandmothers/great-grandmothers from Heaven they be guided on their journeys to be with "our Beas" where they are....with Jesus!

How privileged we are that those who gave us life we are able to assist them on their final steps of earthly life to eternal life. Such is the rhythm of life...may it continue so for many generations to come.

"May the Divine assistance be always with us and may the Souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace!!"

Dear Jan and family.
Today is August 30, 2014 and it has been one year since "your Bea" went to Heaven..less than a month after "my Bea" went to Heaven. Even though it has been a year it seems like yesterday. Today I celebrated Mass in memory of your mother. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers today and always. The online Guest Book is now permanently online. The photo album is delightful! I have visited it often. You will be able to return to the dreams, "though gone, but not forgotten." On special days you have a place to remember and honour your Bea and all your family in Heaven. It keeps the journeying close. I find it so helpful with my Bea. The two "Beas" with the same name, same place of birth (Winnipeg) and same year of birth (1916) born into Heaven within a few weeks of each other and now together looking down with love and care on those God has given them. I find this verse from the Irish song, "The Isle of Innisfree" so touching and meaningful and now share it with you....

"And then into a humble shack I wander
My dear old home
And tenderly behold
The folks I love
Around the turf fire gathered
On bended knee
Their rosary is told

But dreams don't last
Though dreams are not forgotten..."

May God bless you and all your family and hold you close in His comforting embrace. Thank you for all you are.

Fr. Ian Charles Stuart
My sincere condolences to Jan, Larry, Pat and families. Bea was a kind and generous woman with a razor-sharp wit. She will be sorely missed.
Dear Jan, Larry, Pat and families:
Please accept our condolences on your Mother's passing. I regret I am unable to arrange to attend the services. I have so many memories of good times with your Mom and my brother Pat - he is never far from my thoughts. I wish we could be with your family to celebrate a wonderful person who gave us all so much during her long life. She will be missed.

Dear Jan, Larry and Pat:
I just heard about your Mother's passing and find I cannot make it to her service. Aunt Bea was always so wonderful to me throughout the years and I have many good memories of being invited to stay at your house when my family visited from Edmonton. I was always impressed with her beautiful appearance - she has always been one first class lady! I regret I cannot join the family to celebrate her life with you but please accept my condolences. With loving thoughts,
Gerry Nott, Ladysmith BC.
Dear Jan, Larry, Pat & families,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We are grateful for the 18 years we were privileged to have your Mom as our kind and gracious neighbour.
Sincerely, Jim & Wanda Beaton
Sad to read of your mom's passing. Moira and I send our prayers and thoughts your way -- to all your family.
We send you all much love on the death of your beloved Mom. She lived such a full and rich life and made it so much sweeter with her noble spirit for those blessed to be around her.
It is true when they say that a Mother hold their children's hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.
May God grant you comfort in your sorrow and joy in the knowledge she is at peace.
With great love we hold you all close in our prayers.
Dearest Jan and Family,
Your Mother was such a kind and gracious woman who always had a warm smile on her face whenever we saw her. We hold you all close in our prayers in the coming days and months ahead. May God Bless you all throughout your loss and those beautiful memories you hold so dear, bring you peace of heart.
