ELLERTON, Donald On August 28th, 2021, at the age of 86, Don passed away in Ladner, British Columbia, after a brave battle with lung cancer. He was born and raised in Yorkshire, England with 5 brothers and one sister, all predeceased. His sense of adventure and determination brought him to British Columbia with his wife and children in 1975, where he has resided ever since. Don had many passions in life, including photography, computers, fixing anything and everything but until the end, woodworking was his pride and joy. Known by many as "Mr. Quando", he also loved to sing, and did so every day. He was never without a song, or a whistle and his sense of humour was sharp, never missing an opportunity to put a smile on someone's face. Don is survived by his wife Sheila, daughters Julie and Christine, son Terry, grandchildren Melissa, Jordan, Mitch and Sarah and two great-grandsons, Brodan and Jonathan. Also grandchildren (Sheila) Chris, Jenny, Steffi, Natalie and Stephen. He will be forever in our hearts. A service for Don will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 4pm at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Rd, Delta, BC.
