I am deeply saddened for your loss Shauna. I met Don in the 80's, bought my wedding rings from him. Cool and fun guy, will be missed. I cannot make it on Friday, as I am going to Ottawa today. I will call you next week Shauna.

Don was such a great guy, upbeat, responsive and it was a pleasure to have worked with him for the many years he was our computer tech at Canadian Memorial United Church. It is hard to let go of the good ones. I send gratitude and love to Don for having made the world a better place. Peter

Don came as a package deal with my wonderful friend Shauna. Memories will always remain of the wonderful times fishing the lake at Pennask and of the many evenings spent with them at their home. Don was a man of many talents and had such a great sense of laugh, and a wicked sense of humour. My thoughts and love are with you Shauna and with Don.

Thinking of you Shauna, so sorry to hear of Don's passing. I always enjoyed talking to both of you about David and Deborah as well as Carpet Network.
RIP Don

I knew Don mostly in the 80's. He was a great friend and one of our coveted members of "the magnificent 7". He will be missed.

The first time I met Don I was paddling a log in Centre Bay. Don swam out from shore to see if I needed help. I didn't but invited to climb on and paddle with me. It was the beginning of a long friendship. When Don lived on Vancouver Is., Rob and I spent a lot of time with him and he was honorary Godfather to our daughter. Over the years contact became sporadic, but our love and respect for Don will never fade. Shauna, we're thinking of you at this time, and hope that happy memories will soon replace the sadness you feel now. Sharman and Rob Edgett

As one of Don's childhood Gambier friends I was full of great memories this weekend. Off on some adventure or just hanging out, the summers were long and fun. Often gone all day, Howe Sound was our playground. Don and his family were a big part of that.

Don was always there when we needed him and no matter how dire the situation was his calm and friendly demeanor never wavered. He will be dearly missed by all of us. On behalf of all of us at Prospero.
