Your outdoor lights that you had put up and left up. I turned them on Dec 23 and think of you every time I see them.

This is the first time in my life that I have been alone on New Year's. It was by far the toughest that I have experienced, but know that I am not alone in feeling this. I am thinking of you and close family and friends who have passed.I plugged in the lights that you had put up and left up. Happy New Year to the world for 2018.

We will think of you whenever I see early spring flowers in Vancouver, military movies, men's interest books, or all the work you did around the house... Or when Violet tries to feed someone! You were so patient with her and she loved her time with you. Likewise, Quintin still talks about sitting on the couch with you to watch the news. I have a lifetime of memories to cherish!

I am so sorry for you and your family to have lost George. Please accept our condolences. George was such a wonderful, kind and friendly man.
We remember the many barbeques and tasty dinners that he prepared for us. He was also a good entertainer.
Whenever I see magnolias, I see George in front of the flower. He's gone but you have lots of memories of your beloved husband. Please take care of yourself.

Love

Dear Marji hearing this news makes my mind flash back to our flat sharing days when George walked into our lives. The dances we went to and the fun we all had and even now I can hear his cheeky giggle.Shirley ( Chesh!) Altrincham U.K.

George - I wrote this on my Anniversary Card to you, August 1, 2015, which was celebrated in the hospital, a place that you did not want to be. We acknowledged that after 45 years, we must have done something right. You agreed with this quote: Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads, which sew people together through the years. Forever in our thoughts. Rest in peace.

We will always hear you when we listen to your music. You will be very much missed, but never forgotten.

George, we will always remember you as a brother. Someone with whom we could be ourselves; someone who would be respectful, kind and fun-loving, a man with integrity. We will miss you and will always carry you in our hearts.
