Clayton was a great friend and could light every room he entered. He always made me laugh and when I was down he would pick me up and tell me to keep my head held high. Clayton meant a great deal to so many people and he still does. I love you man and I know you are doing well up there. Fly high buddy.

What a loss; how terribly sad! My familys prayers and most sincere condolences to Claytons family and friends. I had the honor of coaching Clayton during an all star baseball tournament when his family lived Bourbonnais. I remember getting a call from his mom before one of our critical games. She told me that Clayton would miss that evenings game because his cousin had been seriously injuried. She called back a couple of hours later to say that she and Clayton were in their way to the game but that they would be late. Claytons cousin, despite his present condition, had urged Clayton to go to the game and to hit a home run for him. Clayton arrived late in the game. We were losing. We worked into the lineup and...he hit a home run. We coaches were awestruck and one of them ran to recover the ball. After the game we awarded it to Clayton so that he could give it to his ailing cousin. I was still shocked when his mom told me that he had never hit a home run over althe fence in his life. It was his first and it was for his cousin. Unbelievable! Those 10 days of our tournament were among the most meaningful of my days. Clayton was a big part of it. Im sorry for your loss and I know Clayton is with God. I pray the family finds peace in time.

This breaks my heart, and I did not know Clayton. I do know his grand mother and his grand mother's sisters. I cannot imagine this loss, so I can't say I understand. I have not been through it. I can say that I do care and prayers will be with Clayton's entire family in the days, weeks, and months ahead. So sorry for your loss.

Clayton was a great young man who will be missed by so many. I wish I could be there to help comfort the family but know that despite my absence, I am there with you all. If there is anything I can do, let me know. The longest walk that any parent will ever take is the one after their child has run ahead of them. I pray for strength for the family. Rest in Peace Clayton.

There are no words that haven't already been said. He was such a fun loving kid, a wonderful role model for Ethan and Lauryn and always had a smile on his face. I can't imagine the pain Jessica and Tony are dealing with and hope they find comfort with all the support, love, and prayers from family and friends. I'm terribly sorry that I won't be there for the services but know my heart is with you.
