Visitation would have been one heck of a party but due to the COVID-19 Virus, State Mandated restrictions has kept us from celebrating our dad's life for the moment, but as soon as this passes, we will honor dad's memory properly in the future! The Orlando Family.

In lieu of flowers, pick out a good joke and tell it to someone.

This indeed is sad news. I loved Jim and Laura. I consider it an honor to have such fond memories of time spent with them. Jim was a fine man. A conversation always included updates on the family and clearly he was proud of and loved them. May your memories bring some comfort.
With sincere sympathy,

Jane

I will always have great memories of Uncle Jim and Aunt Laura. They were a frequent part of our lives growing up. They always attended our birthday parties, Christmas time, Graduations and many other occasions. They even took me with them on a family trip to South Dakota, Wyoming, Yellowstone and more. It was this trip that gave me an experience of a lifetime at such a young age and to learn that there was more outside of Chicago. As an adult, I continued to search for this kind of beauty.

We were very fortunate to have the both of them in our lives. Thank you Uncle Jim with all my heart!
Love, Marina

I remember Jim as being one of the best Operator in local 150. I was one of his oilers back in the early 1960;s when we worked at the U.S,Steel Works on Chicago's S.E,side, and at that time he was also our union steward and he was always willing to listen anyone with a grievance. I have thought of him over the years often and tried to emulate him in my dealings with every one I come in contact with.God bless this man.R.I.P.
