PATRICK M. MCGOWAN HIGHLAND, IN
Patrick M. McGowan, 61, of Highland, IN passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, IN. He was born to Thomas and Phyllis (O'Dea) McGowan on July 13, 1955 in Chicago, IL. Patrick is survived by his siblings: Veronica McGowan, Tom (Donna) McGowan, Daniel McGowan and Margaret (George) Gallagher; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Patrick was preceded in death his parents, Thomas and Phyllis McGowan. Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 2825 W. 81st St., Chicago, IL 60652 with Father Matthew Compton officiating. Burial will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Patrick will be deeply missed by his loving family and precious friends. God Grant Him Eternal Peace.
