Rob was one of my closest friends. I first met him on the Midwood High School track team in 1965 and we remained friends through all these years. He was a thoughtful and kind person who always had something interesting to say about the world we live in. He had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Robbie always treated me like a member of the family. I especially appreciated this when Peter--my stepfather and Robbie's brother--died. When my kids were born, Robbie said the things to me that Peter would have said if he had been around. I am so sorry to hear about this and thinking about Robbie, the stories he told, his motorcycle trip to Europe, and the kindness he showed me.
